How to Apply for a DDI Grant

Denver Delta Inc. (DDI) supports programs and initiatives that respond to real community needs and create measurable, lasting outcomes. Our grantmaking process is designed to be transparent, accessible, and aligned with our mission to strengthen education, health, and economic opportunity across the Denver metro area.

Who Should Apply

DDI grants are intended for organizations and initiatives that are community-focused, mission-driven, and positioned to deliver meaningful impact. We welcome applications from nonprofits and community-based programs that demonstrate:

  • A clear understanding of the need they are addressing
  • Alignment with DDI’s mission and priorities
  • Strong leadership and responsible financial practices
  • A realistic plan for implementation and sustainability

How the Application Process Works

The DDI grant process begins with a review of eligibility requirements and program guidelines. Applicants are asked to complete a standard grant application that outlines their organization’s mission, proposed use of funds, expected outcomes, and capacity to manage grant resources.

Once submitted, applications are reviewed for completeness and alignment with DDI’s priorities. Qualified proposals then move through an evaluation process that considers community impact, feasibility, accountability, and long-term benefit. Final funding decisions are made with oversight from DDI leadership and the Board of Directors.

Beyond Funding

DDI views grants as partnerships, not just transactions. In addition to financial support, we prioritize responsible stewardship and ongoing communication. When applicable, grantees may receive guidance to support effective implementation and reporting, helping ensure that funded programs remain aligned with their goals and deliver results.
